Mom's Update

We had some technical difficulty with the blog last night. Claudia reposted the messages that she and Katy had put on Facebook so we would have something on the blog.

We will try to recover the original blogpostings later today.

Courtney had a restless evening last night. Her muscles are spasming which causes her pain and discomfort. I will be meeting with Courtney's entire team later today to discuss medications and plans to make her more comfortable.

Courtney is doing the breathing on her own right now and will do that for about 4 hours then she will rest (with the ventilator turned on) for 2 hours then another 4 breathing on her own, etc.

Our prayers are for Courtney's body to relax enough that she is not causing herself further pain through muscle spasms and that her lungs continue to get strong so that she can get off the ventilator and get up in a chair.
