11/16 - Family Update

Today, Courtney opened her eyes for a short time. First in the morning and later in the afternoon. We could all tell that she was freaked about where she was, she had an incredibly tense/tight grip on each of our hands. In the afternoon, she made attempts to move her left leg and both arms.

Father Kenny, from LSA, stopped by to visit and pray with us. It seemed as if she recognized our voices because her heartbeat increased. Of the highlights today, Courtney's body was able to stabilize her blood pressure without the help of meds.

Thanks to Auntie Been and Catherine, Courtney has been listening to Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz all day.
