11/17 - Dad's Update

Hi,

My wife and are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and prayers that all of you have sent us. It is very comforting to know that we are not alone on this journey.

We have heard from friends and family all across the US including Hawaii and even from Europe(Thanks Marie).

During the day today the Rhode Island Hospital Staff again worked with Courtney as though she were of their own. The Doctors, nursing staff are beyond world class, quite simply they are amazing. We also know that the skills these gifted people have is derived from the presence of God in their own personal lives. Please include the staff at Rhode Island Hospital in your prayers.

The Trauma Physicians have told us that the next fews days will provide us with the tell tail signs the path that leads to her healing. We are living not by the day, but by the minute and the hour.

Courtney's healing from this accident will not be swift nor easy as she is very, very ill. We cannot accomplish her recovery without your continued prayers and support. Diane and I are truly blessed to be surrounded by such love and support.

We look forward to the challenges ahead neither with trepidation nor fear but with love in our hearts and the healing presence of God in our lives.

Please continue to Pray for Courtney in the days, weeks and months ahead.
